Cybersecurity for companies and government

Cybersecurity for companies and governments, from a senior team in Honduras

We review your systems the way an attacker would, explain in plain words what is at risk and stay with you until it is closed. Private companies and institutions of the Government of Honduras already trust us with the security of their systems.

Who it is for

For organizations of any size, and for the public sector

Risk looks different depending on who you are. This is how the problem usually shows up and where to start.

Small business

A stolen password or a fake email can take down your invoicing or your customer data, and nobody on your team works on security full time.

Start with: a basic assessment and staff training.

Mid-size company

You already run servers, cloud, an online store or an ERP, and security falls to whoever has time between other jobs.

Start with: an audit that tells you what to fix first and what it costs.

Enterprise

Your bank, your corporate customers or your auditor ask for penetration tests, controls and evidence, on a deadline.

Start with: penetration testing and compliance support.

Government and public institutions

Portals and systems with citizen data, exposed to the internet, with little room for downtime and oversight bodies that review them.

Start with: a platform assessment and its hardening plan.

Cybersecurity services

Ten services, each with a concrete outcome

Hire them one by one or as an ongoing program. Before proposing anything, we learn what you protect and what your regulator expects.

Security audit and assessment

A full review of how your organization is protected: systems, access, backups, email, devices and procedures.

What it is for
Know where you are exposed and what to fix first, with clear priorities and their cost.
What you get
An executive report for leadership, a technical report for your team and a remediation plan ordered by risk.
When it makes sense
If you have never had a review, before an external audit or after a major change to your systems.
Request an assessment

Authorized penetration testing

A controlled attack, authorized in writing, against your web and mobile apps, your APIs, your internal or external network and your cloud.

What it is for
Prove with facts, not assumptions, whether someone can get in, steal data or stop your operation.
What you get
Every finding with its evidence, its severity and how to fix it, plus a retest of what you fix.
When it makes sense
Before a launch, at least once a year, or when a customer, a bank or a regulator asks for it.
Request an assessment

Application and code security

We review your source code and design for flaws in permissions, sessions, exposed data and injections.

What it is for
Find what cannot be seen from outside and fix it where it starts, before it reaches production.
What you get
Findings with their location in the code, the risk and the proposed fix. If you prefer, we fix it.
When it makes sense
If another vendor built your system, before buying or inheriting software, or if you handle payments or personal data.
Request an assessment

Cloud security

We review how your AWS, Azure or Google Cloud accounts are configured: permissions, networks, keys, storage and backups.

What it is for
Close the misconfigurations that leave data within reach of the wrong people, a frequent cause of data leaks.
What you get
Findings by account and service, the recommended changes and, if you ask, applied by our team.
When it makes sense
When you move to the cloud, when accounts and access grow, or if you are not sure who has access to what.
Request an assessment

Incident response and forensics

Help when an attack has already happened: contain the damage, find out what happened and how they got in, preserve the evidence and get back to work.

What it is for
Recover operations as soon as possible, understand the real scope of the incident and close the door so it does not happen again.
What you get
Containment, an analysis of what happened with its evidence, an incident report and the measures to prevent a repeat.
When it makes sense
After ransomware, a taken-over account, a spoofed email or any strange behavior in your systems.
Request an assessment

Server and network hardening

We configure servers, databases, firewalls and email so they expose only what they need to. For email we set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, which help other mail servers recognize and reject fake messages sent in your company’s name.

What it is for
Close the doors that ship open by default and that automated attacks try every day.
What you get
Every system reviewed and adjusted, with a log of what changed and how to roll it back.
When it makes sense
When a server goes live, after an audit, or if your emails land in your customers’ spam folder.
Request an assessment

Compliance support

We help you align your controls with frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 (the information security standard), PCI DSS (the rules for taking card payments) or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (a guide to protect, detect and respond), and with what your regulator asks for.

What it is for
Arrive at an audit or a regulator review with policies, controls and evidence in order.
What you get
A gap analysis, a work plan, policies and procedures, and organized evidence. We do not issue certifications: an accredited certification body does.
When it makes sense
When a customer, a partner or a regulator requires a security framework, or before an audit.
Request an assessment

Continuous monitoring

A monthly service that checks your systems for new vulnerabilities and for changes that should not be there.

What it is for
So a new flaw does not wait for the next audit to be found.
What you get
A monthly report in plain words, alerts when something is urgent and a direct line to the team.
When it makes sense
If your systems change often or are exposed to the internet around the clock.
Request an assessment

Staff training

Hands-on workshops and phishing simulations for your team, from the front desk to leadership.

What it is for
Help your people spot a scam before they fall for it: many attacks start with an email, a message or a call.
What you get
Sessions adapted to your organization, simulation results and recommendations by department.
When it makes sense
When people join, once a year, or after a fraud attempt.
Request an assessment

Security for government platforms

Review and protection of portals and systems for public institutions, from design to daily operation.

What it is for
Protect citizens’ data and keep services online, with the documentation public processes require.
What you get
Assessments, penetration testing, hardening and support, with reports for the institution and its oversight bodies.
When it makes sense
When a new portal or system launches, before an audit, or as part of a support contract.
Request an assessment
Security and engineering on the same team Whoever finds the flaw knows how to fix it in the code, not just describe it. And if we build your system, security starts at design: reviews in every delivery and testing before release.
  • OWASP Top 10: the list of the most common flaws in web applications. We check your system against it.
  • ISO/IEC 27001: the international standard for managing information security. We get you ready for the certification audit.
  • PCI DSS: the security rules banks and card brands require from anyone who takes card payments. We help you meet them.
  • NIST CSF: a guide to decide what to protect first, how to detect an attack, how to respond and how to recover.
  • Secure development and code review: security is checked in every delivery, not at the end.
How we work

From a signed scope to a closed finding

Six steps, in writing, with no surprises for your operation.

  1. Step 01

    Scope

We define with you what gets reviewed, why, on which dates and what stays out.

  2. Step 02

    Authorization and NDA

We sign the written authorization of whoever can grant it and a non-disclosure agreement before touching anything.

  3. Step 03

    Execution

We review and test within scope, with tools and, above all, by hand. Anything critical is reported as soon as we confirm it, without waiting for the report.

  4. Step 04

    Report

An executive report for leadership and a technical one for your team, with evidence and priority for every finding.

  5. Step 05

    Remediation

Your team fixes it or we do. We stay with you until every important finding is closed.

  6. Step 06

    Retest

We test what was fixed again and document the result for your auditor or regulator.

Confidentiality and legal framework

Written authorization, and your results stay yours

  • We only act with written authorization from whoever can grant it, and within the signed scope.
  • We sign a non-disclosure agreement before we see any system or data.
  • Reports, evidence and results are yours: we do not share them with anyone without your permission.
  • We use only the access you give us for the job, and it is revoked when we finish.
  • If we find something critical during testing, we tell you as soon as we confirm it, without waiting for the report.
  • With public institutions, we work under their procurement and confidentiality rules.
Track record

Building, running and protecting software since 2011

Geedgo is a Honduran company founded in 2011 that builds and runs software in production: SISTAH for the Honduran Red Cross since 2012, the Water and Sanitation Cost System for Catholic Relief Services since 2013, our IOplat ERP since 2014 and platforms for institutions of the Government of Honduras. Protecting those systems is part of our daily work.

For years, private companies and institutions of the Government of Honduras have hired us to secure their systems, and so have companies in other countries. Because we build software, we do not just tell you what is wrong: we know how to fix it in the code, on the server and in the cloud.

FAQ

What companies ask before an assessment

Why work with a cybersecurity team in Honduras?

You get a senior team on Central Time from November to March and one hour apart the rest of the year, working in English and Spanish, with written authorization, a signed NDA and written proposals with price and timeline. And because we also build software, we can fix what we find instead of only reporting it.

What is a penetration test?

A controlled, authorized attack on your systems to find the flaws a real attacker would use. It runs within a signed scope (which systems, which dates, which techniques) and ends with a report of findings ranked by risk.

Is penetration testing legal?

Yes, when it is authorized in writing by someone who has the authority to do so and it stays within the agreed scope. We do not run any test without that authorization.

Can testing disrupt my operations?

It is planned so that it does not. We agree on testing windows, leave out what cannot be touched in production and, if needed, test against a staging environment. If something critical shows up, we tell you as soon as we confirm it.

What do I get at the end?

An executive report with the level of risk and the decisions to make, and a technical report with every finding, its evidence, its severity and how to fix it. Once you finish the fixes, we retest and document it. It all belongs to you.

Do you certify ISO 27001, PCI DSS or SOC 2?

No. Certifications and audit reports, such as SOC 2 (the security report many US customers ask their suppliers for), are issued by accredited bodies and licensed auditors. We get you ready: we assess where you stand against the framework, help you close the gaps and organize the evidence for the audit.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

It depends on the scope: how many applications, servers or cloud accounts, and whether there is code to review. You get the price and timeline in writing before we start. The proposal is free and comes with no commitment.
